When Bolt thinks Penny is in danger, he tries to save her. He accidentally ends up in another city. He meets the stray cat Mittens and the tv-junkie Rhino (a funny fat hamster in a running ball).

Bolt slowly but surely finds out that he doesn’t have any superpowers at all. With the help of Mittens and Rhino, he goes looking for Penny because he refuses to believe that her love for him has been played too.

Without losing that childish touch in which Disney has specialized, Bolt’s desire to build a more mature story is evident, which, although based on an already seen argument, contains in itself a lot of complexity.

This aspect is noticeable in his plot through a well-elaborated script, transparent from the beginning to the end.

The characters and the animation construction are full of realism and a beautiful colorfulness far away from that Fairy Tale atmosphere that has always characterized them.

The music created for this film is another of the elements where you can notice the effort to make a much more mature and detailed film with all its details.

The result in Bolt was exceptional and is part of the best moments of suspense and action. This one was created by John Powell and resembled the best style of other productions he has worked on, such as the Bourne saga, Jumper The Ice Age, and Shrek.
