To return home, she must meet a powerful magician. She meets The Scarecrow, The Tin Man, and The Cowardly Lion on her way.

Dorothy then meets the Munchkins, the happy little people of the country, whom she has just freed from the dictatorship of the terrible witch.

In Munchkinland, Dorothy also meets Glinda, the Good Witch of the North, and the Wicked Witch of the West, who comes to claim the magic shoes of the dead witch.

Unfortunately, Dorothy has already taken possession of them. The witch then cries out for vengeance against her and her dog Toto.

After a few songs, Dorothy takes the yellow brick road to ask the Wizard of Oz in the Emerald City to send her home to Kansas.
