Synopsis of Leap! Ballerina
Félicie is a poor girl who dreams of becoming a ballerina. Unfortunately, Félicie has no formal training. Then, she runs away from her orphanage with her best friend, Victor.
Victor is a young inventor. Together, they go to Paris. For some reason, they had to separate. Victor becomes an office boy in Gustave Eiffel’s workshop.
Félicie found her way to the Paris Opera, where guards arrested her without permission. Then, a mysterious cleaner saves him with a limp, Odette, who agrees to let Félicie stay with him until he stands.
Odette works for the Opera and for the cruel and haughty Régine Le Haut, a wealthy restaurateur.
While helping Odette clean up, Félicie spies Regine’s daughter Camille practicing ballet. Camille sees Félicie, insults her, and throws Félicie’s prized music box out the window.
The music box broke. When Félicie takes him to Victor for repairs, he intercepts the postman carrying a letter from the Opera accepting Camille to the famous Paris Opera Ballet school.
Félicie, in a rage, hides the letter and decides to take on Camille’s identity to enter school and pursue her dream.
