What Is Marvel?

Marvel has created multiple stories and parallel universes to its most famous tale, known as Earth-616 and in it appear the main heroes we all know.

Some of them are Captain America, Spider-Man, Iron Man, Dr. Strange, Daredevil, Thor, Hulk, The Fantastic 4, Nick Fury (Director of SHIELD), and the X-Men as well as the Avengers.

A Brief Story of Marvel Comic

Between the X-Men and the Avengers, there have been constant changes in their formation. The mutant group is led by Professor Charles Xavier and is originally made up of Cyclops, Iceman, Beast, Archangel, and Jean Grey.

Iconic characters such as Colossus, Nightcrawler, Wolverine, Storm, and Gambit, among others, are added to the group. Their antagonist par excellence is Magneto. The first appearance of the mutants was in September 1963.

On the other hand, The Avengers is a group that originated after a confrontation with Loki, who sought to discredit the Hulk.

Ant-Man and Wasp sent a signal that Thor received and exposed his brother’s plan to confront the god Iron Man. The group then emerged and met at the industrial mansion of Tony Stark, who donated the Avengers’ mansion and created a foundation to cover the costs of its operation.

Later, Captain America, Hawkeye, Quicksilver, and the Scarlet Witch, Hercules, Black Widow, and Black Panther were added to the group.

The Marvel Universe has multiple stories and universes for each character. For example, the X-Men created the New Mutants series, based on the fact that Professor X was looking to rehabilitate his school with a new generation because his former students were already adults.

His first recruits were Karma, Wolfsbane, Cannonball, and Sunspot. Magma, Cypher, Magik, and Warlock were added.

However, each series has its team. In the second, the team was divided into squads. Danielle Moonstar, the granddaughter of Black Eagle, led a cell called “New Mutants”, composed of Elixir, Icarus, Prodigy, Surge, Wallflower, Wind Dancer, and the telepath Wither.

The last team of the New Mutants is a reunion of the original team that emerged from the “X-Infernus” saga. The only one who did not join was Wolfsbane, but Nate Grey and Dust joined.
