A Brief Story of The Incredibles

We never knew the origin of the powers of the Incredibles family. In the first installment, the appearance of superheroes in society was completely normalized.

To the point that society assumed that they fulfilled one more function: from catching thieves to rescuing cats from trees.

Although they had the approval of most of the population, the Government considered that superheroes could cause more harm than good to mortals.

It was decided that they should abandon their powers, forcing them to live like ordinary people.

Mr. Incredible, now Bob Parr, does not end up adapting to his normalized life as an insurance agent. He always longed for the years sheathed in the tight suit.

This is how he begins to help the police secretly and how he awakens the attention of Syndrome, the villain who develops his technology to fight all superheroes.

For those who remember this character’s face but not her role in the plot: Edna Moda was the official designer of the superheroes and is responsible for the Incredibles family’s little outfits.

But with the outlawing of her activities, she was relegated to the fashion runways. And she is one of the few secondary characters from the first installment who will also play an essential role in the sequel.

Lucio Best was another of those sidekicks, known in his superhero version as Frozon. Let’s remember that he could throw ice blasts.

Besides being Bob Parr’s best friend, he is one of the superheroes they still share activity. Although other heroes are mentioned in the first installment, we only see them in action.

However, the public display of the superheroes at the end of the first installment will be decisive for the appearance of new superheroes in action with the sequel.

Recall also that in the first installment, the main villain, Syndrome, is the archenemy of Mr. Incredible.

His hatred is due precisely to the admiration he has had for him since he was a child and the rage generated by not becoming his disciple.

In the sequel, however, it will be Elastigirl who will suffer the consequences of the admiration.

Being children of superheroes can be the best thing in the world, but also a downfall, and more so when you have been raised to keep your superpowers quiet and in hiding.

This causes the first film’s teenage children, Violet and Dash Parr, to learn how to use their powers in a rush and challenge putting them to use for the first time in a real case. However, by the end of the film, they are fully controlling them.
